I got an email yesterday about some MIT students from my fraternity creating a balloon for $150 with no custom electronics that took pictures from 80,000 ft in the air.

Hi. I'm the founder and CTO (ex-CEO) of a startup called Xobni. We are changing the way people use email.
Please take a look around, and leave a comment or two on your favorite post!
Gotta love technology!
I realize this isn't the ideal space but I am a fellow entrepreneur and I'm in the last stages of technical development of a technology that impacts how the world communicates with communities and government. I would really love to chat with you and get feedback from someone who's been through the start-up thing.
Great blog btw...oh and I love your employee descriptions at xobni!

Hello Adam!
I don't know if you remember me. Vijay Vaidyanathan - you were a student in my DSP class in Spring 2002 at UNT, when I started out as an Assistant Professor after my stint in industry. I was getting a little nostalgic today and was looking at old student reports and found yours. I looked you up on the web, knowing fully well that I would find someone who has achieved a great deal at a young age and I was not disappointed! Adam, I am very proud of you! I mention your name to all my students every year when I encourage them to do well in their studies. But, I did so based on my knowledge of you from a semester's interaction. Now, I have more things to say about you. BTW, belated congratulations on being nominated in MIT Tech Review’s 35 Young Innovators Under 35. It's a tremendous achievement. Look forward to hearing from you. Wish you all the very best in all your endeavors. My contact information is:
